Data Governance Executive Director

Job Summary

Leading the governance strategy for the Enterprise Data Platform, the full-time remote Data Governance Executive Director will manage the implementation of data governance standards, policies, and processes, ensuring data is trusted, secure, and compliant across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the data governance program across the Enterprise Data Platform, translating requirements into operational processes and controls
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and operationalize data management policies and standards
• Monitor compliance with data governance policies through audits and metrics reporting across the Enterprise Data Platform ecosystem

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent education/experience
• 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise-level data governance or related fields
• 4+ years of experience managing enterprise initiatives and teams
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks and practical implementation in data platforms
• Experience in defining data policies, procedures, and standards
