Data Governance Manager
Job Summary
Collaborating closely with the Data Steward community, the full-time remote Data and AI Governance Manager will lead enhancements and operations of the Atlan data catalog platform, ensuring adherence to data governance standards while educating stakeholders and managing data asset processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead enhancements and ongoing operations of the Atlan data catalog platform
- Educate Data Stewards on responsibilities and enhance metadata curation reporting
- Manage processes to enrich data asset metadata and maintain data asset ownership processes
Required qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data governance, data analytics, or product management
- Proficient in implementing and managing data catalogs
- Demonstrated understanding of metadata management, data governance, and lineage concepts
- Proven proficiency using agile methods to implement and manage technology products
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, computer science, or a related program preferred
