Job Summary
Driving the enterprise data strategy, the full-time salaried VP, Data Strategy & Governance will manage data governance initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations, and foster a data-rich culture while working remotely or from various locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and own the enterprise data strategy, translating organizational goals into a comprehensive roadmap of data capabilities
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data governance experts, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of data governance technologies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of senior leadership experience in data governance or data strategy roles within large corporate environments
- Deep expertise in data architecture, data quality processes, and enterprise data modeling
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management, or a related field required
- Proven ability to manage large, multi-workstream programs and drive enterprise-wide change
- Strong command of data privacy regulations including HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, and GDPR
