Job Summary
To support the integration of healthcare data, the full-time remote Data Integration Engineer will design, build, and operate data pipelines and integrations, ensuring the reliability of healthcare transactions such as claims and enrollment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy inbound and outbound data pipelines with various healthcare partners
- Write parsing, mapping, and transformation logic in Python and SQL to validate and load partner data
- Build and maintain APIs and services that facilitate the movement of integrated data into core systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of hands-on software or data engineering experience in production data integrations, preferably within the healthcare sector
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
- Working knowledge of healthcare transaction standards, particularly X12 837 and 834
- Experience building data pipelines on AWS and with RESTful APIs
