Data Loss Prevention Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance data security measures, the full-time remote Data Loss Prevention Engineer will design, implement, and optimize enterprise DLP and CASB controls across collaboration platforms like M365 and Box, ensuring effective deployment and integration to minimize data loss risks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of DLP solutions across M365 and Box, including policy lifecycle establishment
• Translate data classification requirements into actionable DLP policies and continuously tune them for effectiveness
• Integrate DLP alerts into SOC workflows to enhance incident investigation and response capabilities

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in security engineering or related fields, with expertise in DLP/CASB technologies
• Proven experience implementing DLP solutions in complex environments, particularly with M365 and Box
• Strong understanding of data exfiltration paths and user behavior across various channels
• Experience integrating DLP detections into SOC workflows and familiarity with identity/access signals
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
