Job Summary
Ensuring data tools effectively support organizing efforts, the full-time remote Data Manager will oversee the management of data systems for core organizing software, maintain data integrity, provide data support, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data processes.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as an in-house data expert on organizing tools, ensuring effective data maintenance and documentation
- Conduct quality assurance processes to maintain clean and accurate data across organizing tools
- Respond to data requests from various divisions, providing training and troubleshooting support for data-related challenges
Required qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in data and organizer roles within candidate campaigns or movement organizations
- Deep familiarity with electoral software tools such as VAN, EveryAction, and Mobilize
- Proficiency in SQL and BigQuery, particularly in political contexts
- Experience with data visualization tools like Google Data Studio or Hex
- Strong ability to manage data projects from scoping through implementation and maintenance
