Data Migration Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing Data Services team, the full-time Data Migration Engineer will manage the migration of customer data from legacy systems to SaaS products, ensuring data quality and business continuity while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Own and execute end-to-end data conversion and migration efforts, utilizing SQL-based tooling for sample and final deliveries
- Perform data extractions, transformations, and quality services to meet diverse customer requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and deliver migration outcomes effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong foundational knowledge of database structures and SQL applied in data migration or transformation scenarios
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data mapping, and data quality best practices
- Experience working in a collaborative, global team environment with a focus on continuous delivery
