Data Migration Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of Data Migration Engineers, the full-time Manager, Data Migration will oversee customer data transfers from competitor and legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products while working remotely across the US.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Engineers, conducting regular performance reviews and setting goals
- Monitor project progress using data metrics to ensure high-quality migration outcomes and adapt plans as necessary
- Provide technical guidance on data migration approaches, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams
Required qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams, with a focus on coaching and performance management
- Strong knowledge of database structures and SQL, with experience in data migration or ETL initiatives
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data mapping, and data quality best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines and adjust plans quickly while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction and quality
