Job Summary
Leading a team of Data Migration Engineers, the full-time Manager, Data Migration will oversee customer data transfers from legacy systems into SaaS products, ensuring high-quality outcomes while collaborating with various departments in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Engineers, including performance management and goal setting
- Monitor project progress using data metrics and quality dashboards to ensure timely and effective migration outcomes
- Provide technical guidance on data migration strategies and troubleshoot complex issues as they arise
Required qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams with a focus on coaching and performance management
- Strong working knowledge of database structures and SQL for script review and migration guidance
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data mapping, and data quality best practices
- Hands-on experience with SaaS data migration or ETL initiatives in a production environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
