Job Summary
Leading a team of Data Migration Engineers, the full-time Manager, Data Migration will oversee customer data transfers from competitor and legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products, ensuring high-quality migration outcomes in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Engineers, managing performance and setting clear goals
- Monitor project progress using data metrics and quality dashboards, adapting plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes
- Provide technical guidance on data migration approaches, including script and scope reviews, while troubleshooting complex issues
Required qualifications
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams with a focus on performance management
- Strong knowledge of database structures and SQL, with hands-on experience in SaaS data migration or ETL initiatives
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data mapping, and data quality best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Ability to manage multiple project timelines and adjust plans quickly while maintaining quality and customer focus
