Data Modeler

Job Summary

To support data-driven initiatives, the full-time Data Modeler will design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for midstream data domains, collaborating remotely with data engineers and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data models, including ER diagrams and dimensional models, for various midstream data domains
• Partner with data engineering to establish the Bronze Silver Gold layering strategy and ensure adherence to modeling standards
• Lead data model reviews with business stakeholders to validate models and support master data management for core reference entities

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data modeling experience, including dimensional modeling and normalized/3NF design
• Direct experience in midstream oil & gas, particularly in pipeline scheduling, volumetric measurement, or regulatory reporting
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Redshift
• Practical experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
• Familiarity with data modeling tools and the ability to produce clear ER diagrams for technical and business audiences
