Job Summary
Supporting the Veterans Health Administration, the full-time remote Data Modeler SQL Developer will administer and maintain large Microsoft SQL Server databases, design and optimize database structures, and develop SQL reports to meet research and operational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain large Microsoft SQL Server relational databases
- Design, create, modify, and manage SQL tables, schemas, and database structures
- Develop, execute, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, queries, and scripts
Required qualifications
- 4-5 years of SQL database administration and programming experience
- 3-5 years of experience developing complex database operations, queries, and scripts
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database administration and related products
- Experience with database design and technical documentation
- Experience supporting database backup, recovery, security, and data integrity
