Data Platform Administrator
Job Summary
Managing the WEKA deployment for AI Hyperscaler customers, the full-time remote Data Platform Administrator will oversee daily operations, optimize infrastructure for workloads, and ensure a healthy and recoverable environment while collaborating with customer teams.
Key responsibilities
- Run the WEKA environment, including monitoring, upgrades, and configuration management
- Optimize infrastructure by tuning the system for specific workloads and onboarding new tenants
- Develop and maintain operational runbooks and automate repetitive tasks using scripts
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience administering enterprise infrastructure at scale, with strong storage experience
- Deep Linux administration skills in distributed environments, particularly with RHEL-family and Ubuntu
- Hands-on experience with high-speed networking and fundamentals of DNS, ACLs, and TCP/IP
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and experience operating GPU or large cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Ansible for automation tasks
