Job Summary
Building and maintaining the Databricks data platform, the full-time Principal Data Platform Developer will manage source ingestion, data governance, and analytics data products while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain Databricks Asset Bundles, ensuring adherence to team standards and CI/CD practices
- Run Salesforce ingestion processes while managing PII-tagged data and enforcing data governance protocols
- Develop document-processing pipelines and reporting marts that support business KPIs and stakeholder reporting
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of data engineering experience with hands-on production work on Databricks
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark, with experience in Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables
- Familiarity with Unity Catalog governance, including grants, tagging, and column masking
- Experience deploying data infrastructure as code using Git-based CI/CD
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
