Data Privacy Manager
Job Summary
Supporting the operationalization and continuous improvement of privacy capabilities, the full-time remote Data Privacy Manager will manage privacy governance frameworks, partner with cross-functional teams, and implement scalable solutions to enhance privacy operations and compliance in healthcare and research environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the operationalization of enterprise privacy governance frameworks and align privacy requirements with broader governance initiatives
- Partner with product and engineering teams to implement privacy solutions and embed privacy-by-design principles into products
- Provide privacy guidance across clinical research and innovation initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; IAPP certification (CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, AGCP) highly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in privacy, healthcare compliance, or related disciplines
- Strong knowledge of global privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and privacy risk management
- Experience with data mapping, data flow analysis, and privacy technology capabilities
- Familiarity with advanced analytics and automation technologies and their privacy implications
