Data Product Manager

Job Summary

Enabling data products that inform pricing, underwriting, and claims decisions, the full-time remote Data Product Manager will collaborate with data engineering to develop and maintain datasets that support core insurance metrics and improve data quality across multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and clarify the underlying questions behind requests from pricing, underwriting, actuarial, or claims teams
• Build and manage datasets that support decision-making processes and ensure consistency across data sources
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable metrics and insights that drive business outcomes

Required qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in product management, data analytics, or a related analytical role within the insurance sector
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation across various sources
• Familiarity with modern data tools such as Databricks and Looker
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts and metrics, with a willingness to learn quickly
• Experience in collaborating with engineering teams to scope and deliver data products
