Data Product Owner
Job Summary
Leading cross-functional scrum teams, the full-time Data Product Owner will manage the product vision and roadmap for outcome-based data solutions, guiding the development process while ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for data solutions serving internal and external stakeholders
- Lead multiple scrum teams in daily activities, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and removing blockers
- Translate stakeholder goals into defined problems and success metrics, ensuring delivered solutions meet quality and compliance expectations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in data, analytics, or BI products
- Demonstrated success leading Agile/Scrum teams, preferably managing multiple teams concurrently
- Strong background in data and analytics, with experience in healthcare or regulated industries preferred
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and master data initiatives
- Experience with tools such as Snowflake, Tableau, and Python, and a practical understanding of leveraging AI for data solutions
