Data QA Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data QA Engineer will ensure the accuracy and quality of data delivered to customers by developing clear test approaches, conducting manual and automated testing, and producing detailed reports on data quality metrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage QA processes from the outset of new projects based on customer data requirements
• Conduct exploratory manual testing and integrate automated tests where beneficial, while running test cycles and reporting results
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to clarify requirements and suggest improvements to QA processes and tooling

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a QA Engineer role or similar, focusing on software or data testing
• Proficiency in Python, with experience using Pandas and Jupyter for data analysis and validation
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases
• Strong understanding of web technologies and protocols such as HTML, XPath, JSON, HTTP, and CSS
• Experience in agile methodologies, particularly Scrum or Kanban
