Data Quality Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support data quality initiatives, the full-time Data Quality Automation Engineer will develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for healthcare data pipelines and integrations, utilizing SQL and Python to ensure data accuracy and integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review data requirements and develop automated checks using SQL and Python within approved frameworks
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency across datasets while reconciling source and target records
• Document data defects and collaborate with engineers to verify fixes and maintain regression coverage

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of relevant testing or data-validation experience, including 2+ years validating data pipelines or databases
• Hands-on SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and reconciliation queries
• Working Python skills for automated data checks and debugging
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, relational data models, and data-quality dimensions
