Data Quality Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the VA's multi-cloud enterprise data management and analytics platform, the full-time remote Data Quality Engineer will design and automate validation, testing, profiling, and monitoring frameworks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of multi-source data.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data validation and quality assurance processes for cloud-based environments
- Automate data quality checks and develop monitoring solutions to detect data anomalies
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data governance and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, and related data engineering tools
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or Scala for scripting and automation
- Familiarity with data quality tools such as Collibra's Data Quality and Microsoft's Profisee
- Strong background in designing automated testing frameworks
- Experience in analyzing and profiling structured and unstructured datasets
