Data Reconciliation Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a time-sensitive financial data initiative, the remote contract Data Reconciliation Analyst will perform detailed validation and reporting activities, focusing on comparing system-generated data with historical records to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structured comparisons between system-generated reports and prior manual outputs to confirm accuracy and completeness
• Analyze financial and actuarial data sets in Excel to identify discrepancies and validate calculations
• Document validation outcomes and maintain clear records that support reporting processes and future reference

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data organization, and formatting techniques
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to review data and identify inconsistencies
• Experience working with financial, actuarial, or similar data sets is preferred
• Ability to manage repetitive validation work while maintaining attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with the ability to document processes and collaborate with team members
