Data Science Faculty

Job Summary

Supporting the academic excellence of the Master's in Science in Data Science program, the full-time faculty member will teach graduate-level courses, engage in curriculum development, and provide mentorship to students in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Teach graduate-level courses in the MS in Data Science program, both online and in residency formats
• Engage in curriculum development and continuous program improvement while maintaining instructional excellence
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to graduate students and participate in faculty meetings and university service activities

Required qualifications:

• Doctoral/PhD Degree in Data Science, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of online teaching experience at the graduate level
• 8 graduate semester credit hours in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Data Science
• Proficiency in topics such as Statistics, Python Programming, R Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning
• Preferably from an institution regionally accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
• Candidate must be based in the US
