Data Science Intern

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the remote Data Science Extern will engage in language model optimization, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design machine learning models, and enhance product functionality through data analysis and insights.

Key responsibilities

• Engage in the refinement and enhancement of language models through fine-tuning and retraining
• Collaborate with product and development teams to conceptualize and design effective machine learning models
• Analyze large datasets to derive insights that support product improvements and business decisions

Required qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a PhD program in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
• Completed coursework in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLM)
• Deep understanding of neural networks, deep learning, and generative AI
• Experience building predictive and causal inference models
• Familiarity with tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow
