Data Science Lead

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end delivery of data science projects, the full-time remote Data Science Lead will manage the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models while providing technical guidance to a team of data scientists and analysts.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate problem-framing and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders to translate needs into data science solutions
• Oversee the development, validation, and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions
• Present model outcomes and insights to senior client stakeholders, driving data-informed decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 6-9 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics, including team leadership
• Strong expertise in Python (and/or R) and SQL for model development and data manipulation
• Proven experience with ML libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, pandas, and TensorFlow/PyTorch
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, supervised/unsupervised learning, and model evaluation concepts
