Data Scientist

Job Summary

Seeking a seasoned Data Scientist to work remotely in a full-time capacity, this role will drive the long-term statistical modeling and machine learning vision of the company while managing the lifecycle of various data science projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct exploratory data analysis and feasibility assessments for proposed machine learning solutions
• Design, prototype, and implement models across multiple domains, optimizing product recommendations and user classification systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user insights into automated services and monitor model performance

Required qualifications

• BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science; Master's Degree in a quantitative or scientific discipline preferred
• 3+ years of experience in developing, testing, and deploying predictive models, especially for recommendation systems
• Advanced skills in statistical modeling (Python, R) and SQL querying
• Deep knowledge of machine learning algorithms and experience with MLOps tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure tools (AWS, Redshift, Snowflake)
