Data Scientist
Job Summary
Owning the design and maintenance of TextNow's data platform, the full-time Data Scientist will develop and support data pipelines, manage data models for AI/ML products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data accessibility and decision-making.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support batch and real-time data pipelines while recommending improvements
- Manage the data warehouse and integration points between various business systems
- Champion the data ecosystem by collaborating with engineering teams to facilitate quicker data access
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with data warehouse/data lake and ETL architectures, including hands-on experience with Python and SQL
- At least 2 years of experience with Airflow and Spark
- Experience in developing scalable, real-time data pipelines using Python/Scala and distributed processing frameworks
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EKS, MSK, and MWAA
- Experience building data features using Snowflake, dbt, and Python for AI/ML inference
