Data Scientist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Data Scientist will partner with the Mail product team to shape feature strategies, define key metrics, and design experiments that drive user engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the embedded data science partner for the Mail core product team, guiding feature strategy and roadmap decisions
• Define and own critical metrics for Mail, including activation milestones and engagement depth, to assess feature effectiveness
• Design and execute experiments throughout the Mail product lifecycle, developing measurement frameworks to differentiate impactful signals from noise

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of data science experience with a proven track record of driving measurable business impact
• Deep expertise in experimentation, including A/B testing and causal inference methods
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong skills in data exploration and manipulation
• Applied statistics and machine learning skills utilized for product and growth decisions
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; an advanced degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred
