Data Scientist

Job Summary

As the first dedicated Data Scientist in a fully remote role, the candidate will build statistical and machine-learning models to drive business decisions, focusing on forecasting, experimentation, and productionalizing models in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, validate, and ship predictive and statistical models that inform clinical and business strategy
• Design and analyze experiments to measure true impact and causal relationships
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to deploy models into robust pipelines with continuous monitoring and retraining

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of applied data science experience with a strong foundation in statistics and machine learning
• Advanced proficiency in Python for data science, including libraries such as pandas and scikit-learn
• Familiarity with operations research, including resource allocation and optimization problems
• Comfortable using modern AI tools to enhance workflow and analysis
• Passion for making evidence-based addiction treatment accessible, with experience in a regulated industry being a plus
