Data Scientist

Job Summary

Passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights, the remote Data Scientist will automate routine decisions, improve cybersecurity incident detection, and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance machine learning capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support security analysts by improving alert quality, workflow efficiency, and detection capabilities through advanced analytics and machine learning
• Drive business decisions by translating data insights into actionable knowledge for the organization
• Maintain and enhance existing models while contributing to new data science initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous learning

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of data science experience in creating models, analyzing data, and summarizing key results
• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience in AI/ML
• Deep proficiency with Python (pandas, numpy, sklearn) and SQL for model development
• Knowledge of statistics including distributions, hypothesis testing, and probability
• Understanding of data engineering and experience with cloud deployment best practices
