Job Summary
Serving as a core data science expert, the full-time remote Data Scientist will design, develop, and enhance AI solutions and advanced analytics capabilities within Amgen's Global Supply Chain Data & Analytics team, collaborating with various stakeholders to translate complex supply chain problems into effective data-driven solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the data science technical lead and subject matter expert for AI-enabled capabilities
- Partner with product owners to translate business problems into prioritized AI and analytics use cases
- Design and develop GenAI solutions using large language models and advanced analytics techniques
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 6 years of experience in a related field
- Hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis and AI solution development
- Experience designing or developing GenAI and large-language-model capabilities
- Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical analysis, and model evaluation
- Ability to work with large datasets and collaborate on data modeling and data quality
