Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support an NIH-funded Autism Spectrum Disorder research project, the full-time Data Scientist will manage research data operations, administer REDCap databases, and apply data science techniques to analyze complex datasets while ensuring compliance with institutional and NIH standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain REDCap databases, ensuring data quality and user access management
• Develop and apply data science and statistical approaches to analyze research data and generate visualizations
• Facilitate access to high-performance computing resources and ensure secure data management practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least three years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with REDCap database management and data quality controls
• Proficiency in Python and/or R for data analysis and workflow automation
• Knowledge of research data governance and NIH data-sharing requirements
