Data Scientist

Job Summary

Joining a dynamic team, the full-time remote Data Scientist will provide advanced technical expertise to support innovation development and applied research, leading quantitative analyses, managing complex datasets, and contributing to the development of tools for effective practices across project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative analyses for research projects, including causal and non-causal research questions
• Build and maintain shared analytic tools and documentation to support project teams across the organization
• Review and strengthen junior staff's code while managing and quality-assuring complex datasets

Required qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, data science, or economics
• Experience with complex survey data and large-scale administrative datasets
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI methods, including large language models
• Proficiency in R and/or Python, with working knowledge of Stata
• Prior experience building or maintaining code used by others
