Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Forward Deployed Data Scientist will facilitate the adoption of NEXUS, managing customer relations and translating technical insights into product development while ensuring successful deployment and integration of solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Individually deploy production use cases with significant business impact, transitioning from experiments to measurable ROI
- Conduct rigorous benchmarking against client baselines, executing data engineering, feature engineering, and validation tasks
- Collaborate with research and product teams to address operational pain points and inform the product roadmap
Required qualifications
- PhD or master's degree in CS, Math, Stats, or equivalent deep statistical literacy
- 2+ years of experience as a technical individual contributor in data science or software engineering
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and writing performant APIs (FastAPI/Flask)
- Mastery of the end-to-end pipeline, including framing, pre-processing, ML algorithms, and validation strategies
- Deep understanding of data handling techniques (PySpark, Pandas) and memory optimization
