Job Summary
Designing and deploying advanced machine learning and AI solutions, the fully remote Data Scientist will support cancer research and clinical operations by integrating multimodal data and developing production-grade AI systems.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with administrative leaders, clinicians, and IT specialists to design and implement AI initiatives
- Develop, validate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models, including transformer-based architectures and large language model systems
- Produce technical documentation and visualizations while leading cross-functional teams in complex AI projects
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field; or Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with deep neural networks and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- Proficiency in Python and related data and machine learning packages
- Familiarity with cloud service platforms like Microsoft Azure
- Experience managing collaborative data science projects and working independently on complex tasks
