Job Summary
As the founding member of the data science function, the full-time remote Data Scientist will own the research agenda, building algorithms to interpret complex hormonal data and translating scientific insights into app features that enhance women's reproductive health.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and enhance algorithms and data-driven insights for the Mira App
- Analyze hormone and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
- Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations
Required qualifications:
- Strong Python and data science skills; SQL experience preferred
- Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
- Proven ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
- Experience in building models that influence product, clinical, or business decisions
- High ownership and comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment
