Data Scientist

Job Summary

As the founding member of the data science function, the full-time remote Data Scientist will own the research agenda, building algorithms and analyzing complex hormonal data to enhance the Mira App and support women's reproductive health.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and improve biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone, cycle, app behavior, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction, cycle modeling, and personalized recommendations

Required qualifications:

• Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred with experience in health or biomarker data
• Experience using model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
• Strong model validation judgment, including handling missing data and evaluating performance across user segments
• Ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
• Experience moving machine learning features toward production
