Job Summary

As the founding member of the data science function, the full-time remote Data Scientist will own the research agenda, building production-ready algorithms to interpret complex hormonal data and translating scientific insights into app features for women's reproductive health.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and enhance biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
• Analyze hormone, cycle, and user outcome data to identify patterns and opportunities for product development
• Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and data science, with SQL preferred and experience with health-related data
• Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
• Demonstrated ability to translate data into user-facing product features and recommendations
• Experience in building models that have influenced product or business decisions
• Strong ownership and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
