Job Summary
As the founding Data Scientist in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will own the research agenda, build algorithms for hormone tracking, and analyze complex data to enhance the Mira App's features for women's reproductive health.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and improve biometrics, algorithms, and data-driven insights for the Mira App
- Analyze hormone, cycle, and user outcome data to identify patterns and product opportunities
- Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations
Required qualifications:
- Strong skills in Python and data science; SQL experience preferred
- Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
- Proven ability to translate data into user-facing product features and metrics
- Experience in building models that influence product or business decisions
- Strong judgment in model validation and handling of missing data
