As the founding Data Scientist in a full-time remote position, the successful candidate will own the research agenda, build algorithms for hormone tracking, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into impactful app features.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and enhance biometrics and algorithms for the Mira App
- Analyze diverse data sets to identify patterns and product opportunities
- Develop and validate models for ovulation prediction and personalized recommendations
Required qualifications:
- Strong Python and data science skills; SQL preferred
- Experience with model interpretability methods such as SHAP and LIME
- Proven ability to translate data into user-facing product features
- Experience in building models that influence product or clinical decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment
