Data Scientist - CAHPS
Job Summary
To support the Stars team, the full-time remote Data Scientist - CAHPS will model member survey response behaviors, analyze CAHPS performance drivers, and translate insights into targeted interventions to improve Star Ratings.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with various teams to understand CAHPS performance drivers and develop analytical solutions
- Build and fine-tune predictive models assessing member satisfaction and survey response likelihood
- Analyze item-level CAHPS survey data to identify specific questions impacting performance metrics
Required qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience in predictive modeling and analysis related to survey-based data
- Demonstrated experience with CMS/NCQA CAHPS survey methodology and related statistical techniques
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, R, Scala, or C++, along with proficiency in SQL
- Experience building end-to-end data science solutions with a focus on machine learning applications
