Data Scientist - HOS Analytics

Job Summary

Joining a mission-driven team, the full-time Data Scientist - HOS Analytics will focus on modeling health trajectories, analyzing HOS survey data, and developing interventions to enhance Star Ratings, all while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical and care management teams to translate HOS performance drivers into analytical solutions
• Build and fine-tune predictive models for member-level health risks and analyze item-level survey data to identify performance drivers
• Develop dashboards to track HOS performance against Star Rating cut points and standardize reporting workflows across the organization

Required qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in predictive modeling and analysis related to longitudinal or outcomes-based member data
• Demonstrated experience with CMS HOS survey methodology and knowledge of individual HOS composite measures
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, R, Scala, or C++, and proficiency in SQL
• Experience building end-to-end data science solutions and applying machine learning methods to real-world problems
