Job Summary
A company is looking for a Data Scientist II for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative data science solutions under general guidance
- Analyze business partners' needs and gather structured and/or unstructured data for modeling
- Design and build appropriate solutions using statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, or related field
- 2 years of experience in data science with a Bachelor's degree or 1 year of experience with a Master's degree
- Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA) designation with a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of experience
- Prior experience in property and casualty insurance preferred
- Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and Hadoop
