Data Scientist in Medical Imaging

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Data Scientist in Medical Imaging, this full-time position will manage the development of Python pipelines for medical image processing, apply AI and traditional image analysis methods to clinical data, and build models linking imaging results to patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain Python pipelines for preparing and analyzing medical imaging collections
• Develop and evaluate AI models for segmentation, classification, and image embeddings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define research questions and communicate findings

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in biomedical engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with equivalent experience
• Three or more years of hands-on experience in medical image analysis
• Strong Python skills with experience in scientific computing and deep learning libraries
• Familiarity with medical image formats such as DICOM and NIfTI
• Experience with traditional image analysis algorithms and machine learning
