Job Summary
Working in a contract capacity, the hands-on Data Scientist - PBM Analytics will support data-driven initiatives within a Pharmacy Benefit Management environment by translating business problems into analytical solutions using SQL and Python while managing complex healthcare datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business problems and requirements into appropriate analytical and technical solutions
- Independently own work from problem definition through analysis, implementation, and delivery
- Analyze and interpret large datasets using SQL and Python while navigating incomplete or messy data
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL for querying and analyzing complex datasets
- Proficient in Python for data analysis and processing
- Experience solving analytical problems with undefined paths to solutions
- Strong understanding of data analysis methodologies and machine learning techniques
- Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of assignments and drive them to completion
