Job Summary
As a Senior Data Scientist - Search, the full-time remote position will design and develop algorithms to optimize search relevance, conduct experiment design, and analyze data to drive product improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop algorithms and models to enhance search relevance, retrieval, and ranking
- Ensure efficient and accurate experiment design, monitoring early feature development through post-release evaluations
- Build scalable metrics and dashboards to track search performance and inform product decisions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant Data Science experience
- Direct experience with search, recommendations, or information retrieval products
- Working knowledge of ML models and their application to business problems
- Expert knowledge of SQL and Python, including data science libraries like numpy and pandas
- Strong understanding of experimentation and A/B testing methodologies
