Data Scientist with Clearance

Job Summary

Supporting the Army's ammunition planning and resupply mission, the remote Data Scientist with Clearance will develop and refine data-driven analytics and machine learning models, enhance existing dashboards, and conduct predictive analytics to improve efficiency and readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development, testing, and refinement of forecasting and analytics models for ammunition consumption and resupply
• Maintain and enhance Vantage-based analytics and dashboards, incorporating new data sources
• Conduct descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in ammunition data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering, business analytics, or related discipline
• 2-5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience with Python and SQL for data preparation and analysis
• Experience building and validating regression, time series, or classification models
• Active SECRET clearance; only US Citizens can obtain a clearance
