Data Security Engineer

Job Summary

To support a complex enterprise technology environment, two remote Data Security Engineers specializing in DLP and Insider Threat will implement, test, validate, and improve data-protection controls while collaborating with security teams and analyzing policy effectiveness during Eastern Time Zone business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation, testing, validation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Data Security and DLP controls
• Test and validate DLP and Insider Threat policies within Microsoft Purview and CrowdStrike platforms
• Collect, analyze, and document security and policy-testing data to identify trends and improve policy effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Data Security, DLP, or Insider Threat disciplines
• Demonstrated experience testing and validating data-security policies
• Experience with Microsoft Purview and CrowdStrike technologies
• Strong regular expression (RegEx) skills and expert-level Microsoft Excel capabilities
• Ability to document testing approaches, results, and recommendations clearly
