Data Software Engineer
Job Summary
Independently designing and operating complex divisional data software, the full-time remote Data Software Engineer III will convert business needs into scalable technical solutions, lead the delivery of data product components, and mentor less experienced engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and translate divisional requirements into data architecture and delivery plans
- Design, build, and operate secure data ingestion and integration services
- Establish automated testing, data quality controls, and monitoring practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Five or more years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
- One or more years of experience in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and pipeline orchestration
- Skills in SQL and Python or another production programming language
