Job Summary
To support healthcare data initiatives, the full-time remote Data Solution Specialist will design, execute, and optimize data transformation processes, leveraging advanced tools to integrate large datasets while collaborating with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and optimization of scalable data integration solutions and assist with ETL process refinements
- Contribute to cross-functional project teams, ensuring project goals are met within set timelines
- Execute data mapping and transformation tasks using the Hadoop and Spark ecosystems, preparing healthcare datasets for organizational use
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in technical roles required, with exposure to healthcare data management preferred
- Proficiency with Hadoop ecosystem tools, including Hue for running Hive and Impala queries
- Experience with Spark ecosystems and languages such as PySpark or Scala for data transformation
- Proficiency in Python for data processing tasks and familiarity with command line interfaces
