Data Specialist
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Data Specialist will build and maintain data models in BigQuery, ensure the health of marketing and sales data pipelines, and manage reporting in Looker Studio while collaborating with various teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Build and maintain models in BigQuery using Dataform and dbt, including writing and reviewing models
- Ensure data pipelines are functioning correctly, addressing discrepancies and mapping products and brands accurately
- Develop reporting in Looker Studio, including data quality checks and alerts to monitor data integrity
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field
- Excellent SQL skills, including the ability to troubleshoot queries and identify discrepancies
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud data warehouses, preferably BigQuery
- Familiarity with dbt and Dataform, including Git-based workflows
- Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker Studio or Power BI
